Samsung's Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is currently getting a new update. And those that own the tablet will be excited to know that it is indeed the much anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update for their tablet. This is for the T713, which is the WiFi version of the 8-inch Galaxy Tab S2. It's a fairly large update, as you'd expect, so you'll want to make sure that you are connected to decent WiFi and then begin downloading the update. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 should also have at least 50% battery left, before attempting to install the update. This way the tablet does not die in the middle of the update, and risk bricking your tablet.

You can head to Settings, tap on About Tablet, then System Updates and tap on Check for Updates. If you are able to pull down the update, it should take a bit to download and install. Remember that it will take longer than usual to reboot. This is due to the fact that the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is rebuilding the cache and such, which takes time, but will make the tablet run faster and smoother once it's back up and running like normal. This is Android 7.0 Nougat, and with the latest security patch (the specific date is not yet specified).
